For Employers

At Hamley Recruitment, I’ll take time to listen to your needs and work consultatively with you to devise a full job specification that covers all the tasks of the role, and paints a picture of the skills and mindset of your ideal new team member.

My knowledge of local companies, roles, and candidates enables me to hone in on ideal applicants, rather than wasting time searching for unicorns.

Recruitment is a service that can be done well, or not so well, and I find this often comes down to the quality of the initial information that’s shared between recruiter, client and candidate. I will ask you a lot of questions!

I’ll be the first point of contact to introduce your organisation to candidates.

I’ll tell them all about your ethos, mission, values and culture so that I can sell the opportunity to the best candidates.

A full and open dialogue between us is essential, and I look forward to cultivating that relationship with you.

Why should you use a Recruiter?

You’re a company owner, an operations manager, or a HR Manager. Recruitment is important to you but it’s far from the only task you do, whereas I am a Recruiter, it’s all I do and I’m in expert at every aspect of the journey. You’d call a plumber for a leak, call me when you want a specialist in people!

Time is money, and money is hard won at the moment. You might think that doing your own recruitment will save you both. But do you have time to:

  • Write and post an inviting job ad that appeals to the best candidates

  • Go through every CV you receive and quickly identify which ones to pursue?

  • Liaise with candidates to schedule interviews?

  • Give constructive feedback?

  • Negotiate an offer?

And if you do, how much will that cost you?  What’s your hourly rate? How much time is this taking away from your other core tasks and what will that cost your business? Are you getting through to the right people and moving the process on quickly enough?  How many times will you have to repeat this process until you finally have a person in the role, being productive?

How do you want to work?

I am a completely independent recruiter so I can work in whatever way suits you. I’m confident to direct our relationship based on my fundamental experience of best practice but I’ll always find a way to work that suits your timescales, requirements and chosen way of doing things.

Can you afford NOT to use a Recruitment partner?

I am going to ask you to invest some of your time at the start of the process, so I can fully understand your business and the role you’re trying to fill. This time will absolutely be a factor in how successful the recruitment will be.

It’s not that any of us particularly enjoy filling out a KPI - it's so we can work better for you to get the result you need for success.

After our meeting, I’ll be able to :

  • Post professional job adverts, expertly written to attract the best candidates.

  • Use my experience to carefully vet each application and make sure you are always only seeing the right people.

  • Proactively search my network for potential talent

  • Organise interviews, and get feedback from your candidates.

  • Help you negotiate an offer that will be accepted.

So far, this is all free.

My fee is usually only chargeable at the point where your sparkly new employee starts their job.

Even for us in the industry, things don’t always go to plan, which is why I offer a rebate scheme to cover you in case a new recruit leaves in the early days of their new role. So there’s even less risk to your investment.

If recruitment is taking up too much of your time, energy and money, please contact me – I’d love to show you what I  can do!

If you’re looking for great staff, I’ll work with you as a partner, and an integral part of your team.
